1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and the operator of WicketNexus ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the WicketNexus cricket league management platform available at https://wicketnexus.com and its subdomains.

By registering an account, purchasing a licence, or otherwise accessing any part of the platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2 Description of Service

WicketNexus is a web-based cricket league management system that provides:

• Ball-by-ball live scoring and match management tools.
• Player statistics, scorecards, and points table computation including NRR.
• Team registration, player auctions, and roster management.
• News publishing, gallery management, and league branding tools.
• Multi-role access control for league admins, scorers, umpires, team owners, and fans.
• A white-label subdomain for each subscribed league (plan-dependent).

Features available depend on your active subscription plan (Trial, Starter, Pro, or Elite). Plan-specific feature limits are described on the Pricing page and within the platform's licence information screen.

3 Accounts & Registration

To use most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at info@crickstack.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in abusive behaviour.

4 Licence & Subscription

Licence grant: Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use WicketNexus for your internal cricket league management purposes during the active subscription period.

Subscription plans: Plans are billed annually. The Trial plan is free for 14 days from first activation, after which access locks until a paid plan is activated. Paid plan limits (number of leagues, teams, players) are enforced by the platform and described on the pricing page.

Renewal: Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You are responsible for renewing before expiry to avoid a grace period and eventual lock-out. We send renewal reminders by email before expiry.

Grace period: After a plan expires, a 7-day grace period allows continued access during which scoring and admin functions remain active. After grace, scoring and admin are locked until renewal. Public viewing of league data remains available regardless of licence status.

Data retention on non-renewal: League data is retained for a minimum of 30 days after plan expiry. We are not liable for data loss resulting from failure to renew or back up data before expiry.

Restrictions: You may not sublicence, resell, or redistribute access to the platform. You may not use the platform to provide a competing service to third parties.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree to use WicketNexus only for lawful cricket league management purposes. You must not:

• Enter false, misleading, or fabricated scoring data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, other leagues' data, or the server infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or scripts designed to disrupt the platform or other users.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, bulk API callers) to extract data or abuse API endpoints.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws, including data protection, privacy, or intellectual property laws.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through the platform's messaging or public-facing features.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6 User Content

"User Content" means any data, text, images, match records, player profiles, or other material you input into WicketNexus.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading or entering content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you and your league members.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains defamatory material, or violates any law.

We may remove content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

7 Intellectual Property

The WicketNexus platform, including its software, design, scoring engine, algorithms, and documentation, is our proprietary property and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited right to use the service; you acquire no ownership of the platform itself.

Our name, logo, and brand elements are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

You are permitted to display your own league's name, logo, and team branding within the platform under your subscription.

8 Privacy

Your use of WicketNexus is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

9 Service Availability & Modifications

We provide the platform on an "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice where possible.
• Modify, add, or remove features at any time; significant changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
• Temporarily suspend the service for emergency maintenance or security patching without prior notice.

We target high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA under standard paid plans.

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WicketNexus is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or that scoring data will be free from inaccuracies arising from incorrect data entry by users.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WicketNexus and its operators, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.

13 Termination

You may stop using WicketNexus at any time. To request account deletion and data removal, email us at info@crickstack.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination:

• Your licence to use the platform ceases immediately.
• Personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
• No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period if termination was due to your breach.

14 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before commencing any legal action, we encourage you to contact us at info@crickstack.com to attempt an amicable resolution.

15 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
